In 2008, the company - branch of the largest Russian shipping company addressed the International Legal Corporation DIGESTA. A task was set before migratory department of the International Legal Corporation DIGESTA to legalize in this company two foreign workers from Lithuania. Work on project execution was conducted in some stages. At the first stage the experts of migratory department of the International Legal Corporation DIGESTA received a proposal from the regional Center of employment on expediency of attraction of foreign labor. At the second stage a conclusion on expediency of attraction and use of foreign workers was received from the Committee on employment of the population for SPb, which allowed getting work permission for foreign workers from the Administration of Federal Migratory Service of Russia for SPb and LR in the summer of 2008. However, experts of the International Legal Corporation DIGESTA revealed clerical error in the permission made by FMS of Russia which did not allow the company-client using this permission for the designated purpose. Experts of the International Legal Corporation DIGESTA organized work on correction of this error followed by receiving of corrected permission for attraction and use of foreign workers granting the right to the company-client to involve foreign labor in number of two persons from Lithuania.
After that a work was organized on preparation and getting permissions for work for foreign workers, invitations for entry into the Russian Federation for foreign workers and members of their families, prolongation of working visas in the Russian Federation.
Successful project close-out allowed the company-client to legalize foreign labor according to the legislation of the Russian Federation and to continue cooperation between our companies in the field of migration in the future.
